Our Christmas

I don't have any pictures from Christmas yet because I still can't find my usb cable. I am losing a lot of things this pregnancy! Anyway, I just wanted to record a few things about our Christmas this year. Oh, but first I have to start with a classic Cienna from this morning. I told her that we needed to take down all the Christmas stuff today because Christmas was over and she said,"seriously Chandra we can only take down three because my body can't handle it today." She is sick the poor thing and all she wants to do is lay on the couch.
Back to our Christmas. Christmas was so exciting this year for both girls. Cienna was into writing her letter to Santa and counting down days. When she saw the movie Tangled she decided she wanted a tangled tower but didn't put it in her letter. She told her mom she had to go see Santa again to tell him so they did. Everyday for about a week she would say," I hope Santa doesn't forget that I told him about that tower." She got lots of castles and the tower and is a happy girl!

Hadley was so fun this year! She opened several presents the week before Christmas when I was in the bathroom or in the kitchen and the last week rearranged every ornament on the tree that she could reach. None of them are breakable because I always have kids around so it wasn't that big of a deal. When I finally told her she could open those presents she went crazy and ripped every piece of paper off every present under our tree. She got a doll house, a new baby and a crib, a princess tent, princess couch and lots of books, puzzles, flash cards and other smaller things. She didn't want to nap long or go to bed at night and when she wakes up in the morning and sees that the toys are still here she runs around from toy to toy in major excitement!

After we opened presents here we went to my parents house and that was where the craziness began. Hadley got a kitchen from my parents and was so excited about it that she wouldn't open any of her presents there. That kitchen has been her favorite Christmas present of all! Cienna opened every present and posed perfectly when ever we asked her to. Grandpa and Grandma Burke came so it was so good to get to see them! We ate a delicious turkey dinner, napped and had desert. It couldn't have been a better day! Thanks to our family for a wonderful Christmas!!

Lessons learned

Hadley is 18 months old and my brother had a birthday yesterday. Happy Birthday Justin! Hadley weighs 30 pounds now and is in 2T pants. Crazy how we are going down in sizes! She is also talking so much and tries to say everything we tell her to.We are waiting for her last 2 teeth to come in(her top I teeth) and then hope we get a break from teeth until her two year molars.

Lesson learned today: There is no time like the present.
Lesson learned last week: Do not dwell on things you can't change, except them.

My little piano player!

Hadley just loves the piano and her new thing is she has to sit up there without me to do it herself. Miss independent!

Lesson learned for me today: Don't use your blog as a journal! It always comes back to bite you!

We are definitely having a........

ANOTHER GIRL!!!!!

We went to Boise for our ultrasound on Saturday. There is no question about it that we are having another GIRL! We are so excited! Everything measured and looked great! Her heart rate was 136 this time. I am so happy that Hadley will have a sis and since they are so close in age they will get to do lots together. I am sure if I had to be good with a boy I could but everyone knows I am way better with girls. They are just easier for me because I am not very tom boyish lol. I had two boys the entire time I did daycare compared to the like, 20 plus girls so I have had more practice with girls. On the really upside Hadley grew so fast I felt like I didn't get that much use out of all her stuff and now I get to use it again!

I might sound crazy, but I think she is going to look a lot like Hadley with maybe a little bigger nose but definitely bigger lips like mine. Hadley has Matt's mouth.

I will work on getting a belly picture and the ultrasound pictures on here but don't have them today.I just wanted to tell everyone our news. Vickie said it was a girl and again she was right!!

I'll Have A Blue Christmas Without You!

Merry Christmas!

Look how she has changed

I still don't know how to put more than 5 pictures on at a time so I had to split this one up. If anyone is willing to help me out I would appreciate it.

It is amazing in just six months how Hadley has changed! Here is the proof.

Fall pictures

Wasn't really a fan of the leaves this year.
I love you babe!
Good smile Cienna!
Do we have to keep doing this?
Matt's parents and all their grandkids

Finally Halloween Pictures

Hadley was good about putting her costume on but not so good about having whiskers drawn on. She rubbed them off the second I got them on. She still made a cute white tiger!
The cute white tiger and the beautiful little mermaid!
Moms and girls
She was not so sure about masks on the other hand.
Yes, that is me in the background. She wouldn't stay there for her picture with her cousins.

Cienna says the funniest things!

The other day Matt was talking to Cienna about who her mom's brother and sister were. She said,"my mom does not have any brothers or sisters!" Matt told her that I was her mom's sister and Justin was her mom's brother. She just kind of had a weird look on her face and replied,"my mom doesn't know who her dad is." I laughed while Matt explained it all to her. I guess we failed to have the discussion about being related to each other.

The other funny story I have to tell about her is this: She is so tiny that all her pants are falling down half the time and if Jennica buys smaller pants then they are too short in the legs. Anyways, the other day her pants were falling down and she said."Look!" My bum has a crack in it!" She paused for a minute and then said," why does it have a crack?" I told her that every one has a crack in their bum and then she said," oh, it must be so big poopies can come out." How could I disagree.
