Daddy's Girl

Daddy's Little Dirt bike rider!!

Hadley with Brad the Santa

This is Brad dressed as Santa for the Night Light Parade. Matt works with Brad and every year they have a float. Last year Matt was Santa so it was Brads turn and he made a great Santa. I decided I didn't want to take Hadley to the Santa at the mall because of all those yucky germs. She has been so so healthy and I didn't want to chance it so I asked Brad not to change until we got a picture. She was not at all scared of him! She reached up and grabbed his beard and played with the snowmobile the rest of the time. Thanks so much Brad!!! Hadley on motorcycle

This made her Daddy very proud

Night Light Parade

Here we are all bundled up for the night light parade. It was fun and Hadley did great!! She sat in her stroller the whole time and only put on her pouting face one time when the sirens went off but she never did cry. That was lucky because every year there are babies crying at the sirens.

Our night out

The last couple of days have been really busy for us! We waited until Matt's bonus to do our Christmas shopping so we have been shopping the last three days. We are crazy! Saturday night we had our first night out together without Hadley. We went to Matt's Christmas party and were gone for three hours. Thats the longest I have ever left Hadley so it was really hard and I worried a lot but it went great and it's nice to know I have wonderful family to trust when I do need to leave her. My mom and Hadley had a great time from what I hear and she ate more peas for her than she ever has for me. Thank you so much mom for taking care of our Angel while we were gone!! We really appreciate it and love you lots!!

Sugar Cookies Crew

Last night we went to my parents house to make sugar cookies. We had lots of fun, especially Cienna. She picked out her own pink sprinkles that she would dump on the cookies. Every time she would get frosting on the sprinkle bottle she would lick it off so we just gave her the beater after a while to eat. Our finished product tasted good but were nothing fancy!! Thanks mom for a fun, yummy treat!!!

12 days of Christmas at the Thompson's

On the 12th day of Christmas my true love gave to me.........
12 hours of sleep
11 happy screams
10 gummy smiles
9 open mouth kisses
8 little giggles
7 pretty songs
6 loud burps
5 blow out diapers
4 drooling rockets
3 quiet sneezes
2 mad fits
and a Great Big Hug just for me!!!!!!
Am I lucky or what!!!

Beautiful Baby Boobies!!!

So Tuesday evening I just about busted my butt! I went to turn on the Christmas lights outside when I slipped on ice. I had my slippers on and was in a hurry when my foot slipped and I landed hard right on my tail bone. It knocked the wind out of me and I couldn't get up to I crawled in pain in the house where I told Cienna to get my phone. I called Matt and said"I fell and I can't get up." He came right home and carried me to the bed. I can't even believe how bad that hurt!! I never thought the day would come when I would say,"I fell and can't get up." It made me feel like an old old lady!! I am feeling a little better now and can at least walk but bending over and carrying Hadley is still really hard. A week ago Matt fell down our stairs and has a huge bruise and now I fell. Everyone is telling us we need to be more careful around our house!Lol!! Needless to say, I will never laugh about people falling on the ice again and will never go outside in the snow in slippers!!!

More pics of Cienna

Cienna still asks every day,"when will the fair come back Aunt Chandra?" She loved all those fair rides this year!!!

Cienna Pics

This is my niece Cienna. I watch her every day while Jennica works. She feels our home with laughter every day. If I had a dime for all the funny, cute things she said all the time I would be rich!! She wanted her picture with this Baby Jesus Castle(Nativity Scene) and yes she dressed herself in 5 layers of dress up clothes this day. Oh I am suppose to tell you those are her crackers too. She's funny!! She is eating a banana right now and just told me that her banana is making her crazy. See what I mean. I was putting Hadley to sleep and when I came downstairs this is where I found her, in Matts boots. Lol!!

She wanted to put her mom's glasses on all by herself. This is how it turned out.

We tell her to smell the flowers so she smells and kisses them.

She wanted to be bigger like Hadley because when she is bigger she can go in all the baby stuff. I am having a hard time explaining that when she was a small baby she did all these things.

South hills

Last night we took our little family to see the Christmas lights. It was a nice 2 hour drive but wasn't without a little drama. On the way we almost hit a dog and a raccoon(I thought it was a skunk). Here we are in the truck because Hadley slept the entire time but at least I have the pic to show her some day that we did go. We also went to Magic Mountain and they had about 6 inches of new snow and maybe a foot total.I thought there would be a lot more than that.We also drove to where Matt proposed to me seven years ago. I really can't believe how time flies!!!

This is my house. I put lights up for 4 days and thought I did a pretty good job until...... we went to South Hills and saw all those lights
